TOPICS

RE Cares@REFSQ seeks contributions addressing the following topics:

​

(i) Methodology for rapid requirements elicitation, design, and software prototyping in the context of a hackathon-style event; 

 

(ii) Exchange of experience in participation in ìsoftware for social goodî projects, especially the experience in  requirements engineering aspects of such projects;

​

(iii) Ways and means of improving RE community engagement in ìsoftware for social good causes (both as part of RE Cares events, as well as separate endeavors)

​

SUBMISSION

​

RE Cares@REFSQ asks for submissions to participate in two ways: 

 

1) As a SPEAKER

 

    Submitted short experience reports must be in CEUR format (5-6 pages), outlining the authors' prior experiences in participating in "software for social good" projects, specifically concentrating on requirements engineering software design aspects, and detailing any lessons learned.

All submitted experience reports will be reviewed by 2 PC members and evaluated based on the appropriateness to the subject matter and the intent of the workshop.

 

    Authors of accepted papers will be invited to give a short presentation at the workshop. 

 

2) As a HACKATHON ACTOR

​

    All people interested in participating in the workshop must submit a short bio (max 1 page) and a short statement of interest in RE Cares and its goals (max 1 page) .

PUBLICATION

​

All accepted experience reports will be published in the REFSQ Workshop Proceedings.
